We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the 2021 Asian Restaurant Awards.
The annual awards take place every August in Manchester, and are open to all restaurants serving Asian dishes.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner and presentation ceremony organised at the Mercure Piccadilly on Tuesday 31st August and we’re keeping our fingers firmly crossed that we will be one of the winners.
After such a difficult year for everyone, including our staff and, more importantly, our customers, to be nominated for this award is a huge honour.
In 2020 we were delighted to be awarded with the Tripadvisor Travellers Choice award 2020 and to be nominated for another award this year makes us all very proud.
About the Asian Restaurant Awards
The Asian Restaurant Awards cover the full range of Asian and Oriental cuisines: Bangladeshi, Burmese, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Middle Eastern, Pakistani, Singaporean, Sri Lankan, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese.
They recognise restaurants, takeaways and other food establishments across the country that work hard to service the Asian food industry, promote Asian cuisine, and connect communities through food and culture.
More than 100,000 online votes have been cast to determine the finalists in each category, including ourselves, and now the judges from the ACF will be tasked with deciding the overall winner.
Commenting on the significance of this year’s awards, ACF chairman Yawar Khan said: “The pandemic has been devastating for many hospitality businesses and its workers.
“These awards will acknowledge the sector’s resilience, innovation and generosity in the face of such adversity.”
